Feb 11, 2010 - Major Initiative for the Profession of Paramedicine

Today the federal government announced $1.2 Million in funding for a two year project to assist paramedic regulators in Canada to, among other things, develop interprovincial exams for entry to practice at the PCP and ACP levels. Read more.

May 14, 2009 - SCoP's first Public Representatives Appointed!!

The following public representatives have been appointed to Council.

  • Ms. Karen Todd, Regina Beach, is a psychologist who has previously participated on Executive Councils for the Psychological Society of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.
  • Ms. Karen Wallace, White City, is a Regional Branch Manager with Credential Asset Management Incorporated. She has extensive volunteer experience, including participating on the Zoning Board for White City.
  • Mr. James Struthers, Regina, is a lawyer with the Saskatchewan Legal Aid Commission with extensive volunteer experience, including serving as a Board member for the Cornwall Alternative School.

September 2, 2008 - Saskatchewan College of Paramedics Appoints Executive Director

Brent Stewart, President of the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics, today announced the appointment of Lily Stonehouse as Executive Director and Registrar for the College. Lily brings to the College extensive experience in executive and senior management roles in the provincial government, SIAST and the regional college system.
