How to Become a Licensed Paramedic in Saskatchewan

The Paramedics Act was proclaimed September 1, 2008 and the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics officially became the licensing body for Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Emergency Medical Technician - Advanced (EMT-A), and Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedics (EMT-P) in the province of Saskatchewan.

Registration Packages

In order to practice as an EMR, EMT/PCP, EMT-A/ICP, or EMT-P/ACP, individuals are required to register with the College. The following table summarizes requirements for certain types of applicants:
