Registration Information for Applicants Registered in Another Province, or International Applicants

If you are licensed in a jurisdiction in Canada other than Saskatchewan, follow these steps:

  1. Please refer to the Canadian Paramedic Mobility web site before proceeding with the registration process. This AIT tool is the result of a comparison of the Saskatchewan Scope of Practice to that of other provinces for EMRs, PCPs and ACPs and notes any important differences which must be addressed prior to obtaining a license to practice in Saskatchewan.
  2. Download Registration Form (pdf) - This form must be completed in full and signed.
  3. Fees for 2010:

    The annual license fee for 2010 is $425.00 plus an initial processing fee of $50.00 for a total of $475.00.

    There is a pro-rated licensing fee as of October 1, 2010 of $255.00 plus an initial processing fee of $50.00 for a total of $305.00.

    Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, money order or certified cheque. Personal cheques will not be accepted.

  4. Verification of Registration from any jurisdiction where you have been licensed. This form can be accessed from the SCoP web site – Verification of Registration. Please complete the top portion of the form and forward it to the regulatory agency or agencies in the province(s) where you have been licensed. Have the agency complete the form and mail it directly to SCoP.
  5. Criminal Records Check (CRC) including a vulnerable sector check (completed by a police officer within the past year). You must submit the original CRC. A copy will not be accepted.
  6. Saskatchewan Jurisprudence. You will be required to sign a declaration that you understand the SK Legislation framework and protocols for your scope of practice based on reading the following - The Paramedics Act of Saskatchewan, Regulatory Bylaws, Administrative Bylaws, Emergency Treatment Protocols Manual and Continuing Medical Education Requirements.

    Follow the link to obtain a copy of the Saskatchewan Jurisprudence Declaration. You must submit the original Jurisprudence Declaration. A copy will not be accepted. This declaration must be witnessed by someone other than a relative.

  7. A digital photo (head and shoulders) in jpeg format. Please label the jpeg file with your name and registry number (4587). The photo must be accompanied with a statement by a manager or notary public stating that you are the person in the photo.
  8. Forward the completed registration form with supporting documentation and fees to:
