Change of status
- Change of status form is used to change:
- current year practicing status (i.e. from practicing to non-practicing) More info about non-practicing >
- current year licence level (i.e. from PCP to ACP) including Restricted licences. More info about Restricted licences >
- Do not use the Change of Status form to change status or level for next year. That is done through the Licence Renewal form
Applicable Fees:
- Change of status fee: $50
- Practicing licence (if moving from non-practicing to practicing): $520 (reduces by 25% each quarter) + change of status fee
- Restricted licence: (optional): $100 + practicing fee + change of status fee
- Pay by Visa or Mastercard when applying online. You may also pay by money order, certified cheque, employer cheque, or e-transfer (to payments@collegeofparamedics.sk.ca). No personal cheques

Licensing Exam
- If you are moving up levels, to Primary Care Paramedic or Advanced Care Paramedic, you will be required to write a licensing exam in order to receive an unrestricted licence, and may be eligible for a Student Restricted Licence >.
- Please make sure you take an approved PCP, ACP, or CCP program >
How to apply for a Change of Status
Items required to upload:
- If moving to Non-Practicing:
- nothing
- If moving to Practicing:
- 20 Continuing Medical Education (CE) credits, which include 2 for mental health and 2 for Documentation. More CE info >
- up to date Skills Reporting form >
- If moving up a level (to PCP, ACP, or CCP):
- Educational certificate/diploma or transcript from an approved program >. Upload one or both documents to the Education area of the Change of Status form as two different entries or one combined pdf
- Also if moving to Practicing or moving up a level:

Your Licence
When your change has been approved, your information will be updated on the Online Registry, and your Member Licence and Wallet Card will be available from Your Account.
