Change of status

  • Change of status form is used to change:
  • Applicable Fees:
    • Change of status fee: $50
    • Practicing licence for 2020 (if moving from non-practicing to practicing): $510. Reduces by 25% each quarter
    • Restricted licence (optional): $100 + practicing fee and application fee
    • Pay by Visa or Mastercard when applying online. You may also pay by money order, certified cheque, employer cheque, or e-transfer (to payments@collegeofparamedics.sk.ca). No personal cheques.

Original documents required by mail

  • Transcript (if changing to PCP, ACP or CCP, or adding the Community Paramedic Endorsement).

Upload a digital copy to the online application form, and send the original to:

Applications for licensure are approved within 2 business days of receipt of all requirements. Send these documents by mail first. This step takes the longest. 

Licensing Exam

  • If you are moving up levels, to Primary Care Paramedic or Advanced Care Paramedic, you will be required to write a licensing exam in order to receive an unrestricted licence, and may be eligible for a Student Restricted Licence >

  • Nothing, if moving to Non-Practicing
  • Educational certificate or diploma, if moving up a level or adding endorsement 
  • Mandatory Certificates, if moving to Practicing or moving up a level:

    • All certificates must be current and not expired
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME)
    • 20 CME credits, which include 5 for mental health, required if moving to Practicing

Your Licence

When your change has been approved, your information will be updated on the Online Registry, and your Member Licence and Wallet Card will be available from Your Account.

All licences must be renewed each year by December 1.
