Licence Renewal

The Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP) is aware that multiple training sessions and certification classes have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As there is no way to adequately determine when the COVID-19 pandemic will end, we anticipate that some members may be unable to fully meet licence renewal and/or outstanding restriction requirements.

READ MEMO: COVID-19 is affecting licence renewal >

Members can check the status of their requirements in the Member Portal >

All members must still complete the renewal application form found in their Member Account. Renewal is open  October 1 through December 1.

All licences with SCoP must be renewed annually by the deadline of December 1 for the following year. Early birds who renew by November 1 are entered to win 2 VISA gift cards worth $250!

Maintaining licensure includes having mandatory certifications (BLS, ITLS, etc) valid at time of renewal, refreshing skills every two years or as required, and completing 20 CME credits each calendar year. Detailed requirements and how to meet them are listed by licence level below.

Print off the form corresponding to your licence level and have it signed by your assessor. Skills Reporting forms cannot be replaced using certificates of completion; these forms are mandatory for skills reporting.
