Why Self-Regulation is Important

Glen E. Randall BA, MA, MBA, PhD candidate, Founding Registrar of the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario has done a tremendous job to help us understand professional self regulation. Understanding Professional Self-Regulation (pdf) is a helpful article.

A very informative Saskatchewan perspective on professional self-regulation has been written by Robert Schultze, MBA, AAAS, AACI, CAE, President of the Saskatchewan Assessment Appraisers’ Association at the time. What Does It Mean To Be a Self-governing Regulated Profession? (pdf) was published by the Journal of Property Tax Assessment & Administration • Volume 4, Issue 3.
