If you have allowed your Saskatchewan licence to lapse, follow the steps below to complete your reinstatement.

Requirements at a glance

Acquiring a licence from SCoP includes sending some items by postal mail and others via email with the Reinstatement form. Applications are not processed until payment and all requirements have been received by SCoP. 

1. Reinstatement Application

Notice: this form is currently offline while we complete the upgrade of our forms. Please contact us if you need to reinstate your licence.

To this form, you'll attach the requirements stated in steps 2, 3, 4, and 8 below. 

NOTE for Hotmail & Outlook users:  please add "" to your Safe Senders list so that all emails from the College are received. Most communication regarding your application will be by email, and those emails almost always go straight to the Hotmail junk folder unless this step is taken.  Instructions for adding to Safe Senders)

2. Transcripts and Labour Mobility 

Evidence of successful completion of a CMA-accredited training program or an equivalent program approved by Council is required. Download the Request for Transcript form (pdf) and have your institution forward original transcripts directly to SCoP. A photocopy of your certificate (EMRs are only required to send a copy of their certificate) should be uploaded with your application.

If you have not been licensed in Saskatchewan for 2-5 years, you will have to complete a Re-entry Program. If you have not been licensed in Saskatchewan for over 5 years, you will have to complete the program again in its entirety.

If you are licensed to practice in another Canadian province, complete the top portion of this Labour Mobility form (pdf) and send it to the regulatory agency or agencies in the province(s) where you are licensed. Have the agency complete the form and mail the original directly to SCoP.

3. Mandatory Certificates

Copies of the following mandatory certificates are required to be uploaded to the Document Upload form in Your Account, or emailed with your Reinstatement form:


  • BLS-HCP (C)

For PCP 2011 NOCP

  • BLS-HCP (C)
  • ITLS or PHTLS - Basic


  • BLS-HCP (C)
  • ITLS or PHTLS -Advanced
  • ACLS
  • PALS or PEPP Advanced
All certificates must be current and not expired.

4. Continuing Medical Education and Skills

Proof of the following mandatory skills and continuing education credits are required to be uploaded to the Document Upload form in Your Account, or emailed with your Reinstatement form.  


  • Bag Valve Mask
  • Medications Review
  • 20 CME credits

For PCP 2011 NOCP

  • Supraglottic Airways
  • Medications Review
  • 20 CME credits

 For ACP

  • Supraglottic Airways
  • Intubation
  • ALS Trauma:
    • Intraosseous infusion
    • Chest decompression
    • External jugular vein cannulization
  • ALS Cardiac:
    • Cardioversion
    • Transcutaneous pacing
  • ALS Pediatric:
    • Pediatric intraosseous infusion
    • Pediatric intubation
    • Pediatric cardioversion
  • Medications Review
  • 20 CME credits

All mandatory skills must have been assessed within the past two years and are to be reported using the Skills Requirements form for your licence level, found here on the Renewal Instructions page.

The CME credits must have been completed in the last year. 

5. Criminal Record Check

A criminal records check including a vulnerable sector check (completed by a police officer within the past 6 months). You must submit the original document. A copy will not be accepted. Please submit the original copy to: 205 - 3775 Pasqua Street, Regina, SK S4S 6W8

6. Licencing Exam

Reinstatement candidates who have never written and passed one of our licencing exams will be required to do so. See Licensing Exam Info for more information.

7. Saskatchewan Jurisprudence

As part of your online application, you will be required to sign a declaration that you understand the Saskatchewan Legislation framework and protocols for your scope of practice based on reading the following

Renewal Requirements

This reading includes your annual renewal requirements. Please ensure that you have read and understand these documents before submitting your application.

8. Reinstatement Fee

The reinstatement fee is $275, plus the applicable practicing fees. Payment can be made by Visa or MasterCard over the phone, or by e-transfer to You may also pay by money order, certified cheque or employer cheque but note that your application will not be processed until payment has been received. Personal cheques will not be accepted.

9. Member List

When your name appears on the Member List, accessible from the main page of our website, you'll know you have become licensed. Your licence can then be downloaded from the Member Licence tab in Your Account. (Click on the red Adobe Acrobat icon to see or print the full licence.)
