The fourth annual SCoP Award essay contest is here! Two awards of $500 each are available to be won by members in good standing with the College, or students actively enrolled in a paramedic program.

Over the last 10 years, paramedic practice has grown dramatically within Saskatchewan. Where paramedics were once found only on ambulances, we can now be found working in facilities, in community roles, in the air, in industrial sites and more. Paramedics are recognized as highly trained and trusted health care professionals. This trust has increased along with the profession as more is demanded of paramedics.

This year's award will focus on patient advocacy.

Very detailed questions to consider are contained within the guidelines attached.

All submissions must be received by Friday, April 26, 2019. The winners will be announced at the SCoP AGM on Thursday, May 2, 2019.
